Can someone explain to me what you would use a Dutch Oven pot for vs. Stainless Steel?
For me I use a dutch oven if I'm cooking something on the stove that also needs to be cooked in the oven. for example cooking beef bourginon is easier in a dutch oven since you can sweat the onions, mushrooms on the stove top. Then add everything else and put the whole pot in the oven to bake. hope this helps.
