Kogi Up To This!
I've eaten from the Kogi Naranja truck a number of times, and I am happy to say that it delivers on the hype with extraordinary flavor. I am particularly fond of the short rib burrito (a more-than-filling delicious steal at $5). I know a lot of people (my coworkers included) were skeptical and tended to think of it as an indulgence of Coolness over Goodness, but they were quickly converted after trying it. ;)

I'm looking forward to trying out Chef Choi's sit-down place, Chego!

(Also, on the wider topic of LA area food trucks, I am a big fan of Buttermilk - their breakfast sandwiches are delicious, though were I to have my own way I'd want my egg super runny.)
Damn that looks good.

I check the Kogi schedule every time I'm about to hit LA--amazing stuff. Thankfully, you don't have to wait an hour-plus to place your order these days.

The short rib burrito may be their classic, but it's hard to go wrong with any of their selections. The tacos are only $2 each, and the blackjack quesadilla is also a winner. Vegetarians, join in (or line up): The tofu taco is insanely flavorful! Congrats to Chef Choi for his Best New Chef title!
As matter fact I ate at the Kogi Truck today in Santa Monica.  The Kogi Kimchi Quesadilla was delicious with just the right of amount of kick for spice!!! One of the Kogi favorites. The Short Rib tacos are pretty awesome too.

I LOVE the kimchee quesadilla (it my sound like an odd combo, but it's SUPER delish).  As far as the tacos, the beef short rib is definitely my fav.  They look deceptively small but are surprisingly filling.  For first timers, be prepared to stand in line.  It's totally worth it!!!!!!!
I love the Kogi truck, can't wait to try Chego.  I also have fallen in love with @Worldfare - it's a double decker bus.  They call it a Bustaurant - amazing bunny chow; chicken curry, braised short ribs, etc..
Kogi dog = crack hot dog.  I work in Downtown LA and live in Orange County. Food trucks are kind of a rare thing. (Except for Bull Kogi which seems to permanently parked on Grand and occasional Kogi's OC visit.)  Having said that, I did get to catch Patty Wagon last week. Grass-fed beef sliders and awesome garlic rosemary fries. Hmmhmm!  Part of what makes the gourmet truck foods so tasty (other than providing for late night munchies) is the thrill of the hunt and the interaction with the community hovering around said truck.
I'm seriously jealous of you west coast dwellers. Since I live on the other side of the country, there's no chance of my sampling this tasty goodness any time soon.  Drat.
I was just in Portland this week and they had all sorts of trucks set up downtown where you can get thai food, pho, steak, gyros, grilled salmon, and of course tacos. Pretty much anything you can imagine. Where I'm at in Seattle, we have a ton of taco trucks, but that's it. I hope we start getting other vendors too!

OK...so here's the deal.  That looks delicious and I'm not even remotely close to LA. What are the chances that people who have tried this can break down some of the more subtle ingredients so I can try putting one together down here in Brazil? It looks a lot like Kimchi with beef...is that correct?
