oh wow psychic! I was thinking about timers..  I had this horrible timer that would work when it felt like it and sometimes stopped just shy of the last tick.. and stay there LOL It was possessed I think.  Thank you for the suggestion I have just been using my cellphone as a timer, this looks better!

so true Chef!  that one is cool... especially with 4 timers.... and yes, roast chicken, cauliflower mash and gravy and tarte tatin for desserts sounds awesome!!
I just bought a 2nd long wire probe thermometer thinking that my first one was busted, then realized it was just the probe and not the unit itself, so now I have 2 timers... I just need to get a new probe.

Awesome is the word...there are  these restaurants with just the one convection and a busy a la carte restaurant and then we have the patissier who always forgets... obviously a must have.. and so neat... lets hope they are industrial

Seems like a pretty decent price too.  You convinced me to get a Cuisinart pressure cooker (which I love) and now I want one of these.

Oh my goodness! I have to have this. I am sort of dreading our big family dinner this Saturday (19 people). Ugh. I have two main courses, numerous sides, the entire breakfast table is dedicated to desserts. I am taking off Friday just to prepare everything that can be done ahead of time. I need this gaget. My son bought this exact timer for me for Christmas two years ago from Think Geek.  It is a family favorite.  Good choice.
