Hey Guys!

We were thrilled to see that Michael Voltaggio and his restaurant, The Dining Room at The Langham were honored by Haute Living magazine! Melisse, Hatfield's, Il Grano and Coast at Shutters on the Beach rounded out the rest of the group, so Michael is in amazing company. Bravo to Michael for this great laud!

We'd love to hear about your experiences at The Dining Room - have you been? Let us know right here in the comments!

Thanks, everyone!

I've been to the Dining Room twice.  By far the best meals of my life.  Each bite was heavenly.  The service was impeccable.  The sommelier really knows his stuff.  Got to meet Michael in the kitchen.  He was so nice.  Everything about the Dining Room is amazing.

I haven't been yet...but I've made reservations there during my trip to Cali in July!  I am SO freaking excited... :)

Congratulations Michael.  I have eaten at Volt and look forward to eating at your restaurant when I can make it to the west coast.

I went to The Dining Room while Michael was off showing his stuff at The Kentucky Derby.  So I didn't get to meet him - that was a bummer because I had Bryan's business card with me.  I wanted to put Michael on notice that I was going to REALLY judge who was best...lol !

All kidding aside, the dinner was exquisite...everything I expected and so much more.  There were many high points, but I believe I ate the best panna cotta known to mankind (it was the sole gluten free dessert on the menu).  The molecular crisps were also very cool (they were gluten free as well) - one was porcini - Wow!  The other was parmigiano with fresh grated parmigiano and a dollop of lemon curd - yum!

Audie, I posted pics of the panna cotta and parimigano crisp.

Thanks, Dee!
